Books Signings

Shepherd of the Hills Presbyterian Church book event in Lakewood. I will be reading from, signing, selling and answering questions about my first book, “Dolores, Like the River” as well as other short stories that have been published in Chicken Soup for the Soul books and the Xulon Press “Letters to America” Christian short story anthology.  Date to be announced but it will be in June of 2017. Firming up details in a few days. Check back.


May 21, 2017, Guest Artist at the Virtuosity Dance Centre Commuity and Friends: Dance Concert 6 PM Bufffalo Rose in Downtown Golden.  VDC seeks to bring dancers from all levels, training and genres together for an evening of sharing art and encouraging everyone to find and practice their own art as well. This is my second year being invited to perform and be part of this innovative, noncompetitive philosophy that can only serve to make our lives, communities, country and world a better and more beautiful place. I will be dancing to “Up on the Roof” by the Drifters. Come on, Baby, let’s go up on the roof.

Dr. Mark Sheehan tells the world about his book, “Healing Prayer on Holy Ground.”  Dr. Sheehan is a cardiologist in the Denver Area and has a long history of seeing God’s presence in his practice with his patients.  Please join us to hear of some of these stories that can be explained through no other lens but the one of the Divine.

Sharon Cairns Mann will be speaking about the Writer’s Toolkit. Sharon has agreed to be my guest on a regular basis to help writers explore the technical aspects of good writing. She is an award-winning, multi-published author who loves good writing and helping others make their writing the best it can be for publication or  for personal use.

Rhonda Sheya, award-winning photographer shares her love of helping others create memories of family, friends and special events. Rhonda has several of her photographic pieces displayed in the Denver Area as well as reproduced in various publications. She will share how you too can take great pictures.

Laura Pierce, wool expert, judge and fiber artist. What is a fiber artist? What are fiber arts? How do they play into our agricultural part of the Colorado economy. Laura explains how events like the National Western Stock Show and Estes Park Wool Festival support fiber artists as well as ranchers.

Robbie and John Iobst return to the Artists Nook, as promised, to discuss the second half of their book, “Caught in Denial, in the Act and in the Arms of  a Loving God: A Story of a Marriage Lost and a Marriage Redeemed”. Earlier this year the Iobsts were featured on my show and discussed how God saved and healed their marriage that was falling prey to sexual addiction. They openly shared their recovery journey and commitment to God and each other. In the second interview they will discuss the ten holy habits that can keep your marriage healthy and strong.

I can think of no greater privilege than using my credentials as a award-winning and published author to encourage young people to learn and live, “Why Our Stories Matter.”
