No book signings are scheduled at this point but please check back and there are some in the works for the fall of 2017.
Nothing is lined up under dance right now but I do have some events coming this fall. Check back for details.
I am the host of KUHS Radio/TV Denver Artists Nook on the first and third Friday of the month at 2 p.m. MT. You won’t want to miss a single episode. But if you are unable to catch the broadcasts live, you can catch up with them on my Mixcloud page. Also if you have ideas about possible guests or questions for the guests we have had email me at the email listed on my Contact Laura page.
Here are just some of the great guests lined up for summer and fall of 2017:
August 4, 2017, 2 p.m. MT
Nadine Roberts Cornish gives us some insight into the timely issue of care giving in her first book, “Tears in my Gumbo: The Caregiver’s Recipe for Resilience.” From personal experience, Nadine writes a beautiful book about the journey of the caregiver, the help available and the resources for taking care of those who are taking care of others. This is a timely topic as more people are caring for parents who are aging and in many cases ailing. If you are not able to listen in and are interested in her book or to have her speak to a group, please check out her website at TCG.com
August 18, 1017 2 p.m. MT
Interview with the host of The Artists Nook – me. Henry Archuleta and I explore my life as a writer, dancer, radio host and of course an elf.
September 1, 2017, 2 p.m. MT
Chaplain Robert N Ruesch joins me in the studio to discuss his book, “In the Warmth of the Shadow” about his memories of growing up in the resort camp nestled deep in the Colorado Mountains and known as the YMCA of the Rockies. This is a delightful memoir full of inspiration about a boyhood and adulthood lived in the care of our great God, in one of the most beautiful places on earth.
